Medvic c.c. is a family owned business and has been in operation in Newcastle as a Med-e-mass dealer since 1996.  Med-e-mass is the leading Practice Management Solution Company in South Africa, having the lion’s share of the market when it comes to Medical Practitioners.  We cater for all Medical specialities except for Optometrists, and with the acquisition of Mastermed in 2007, we now also cater for Radiologists and Radiographers. In the past few years Med-e-mass has partnered with Edcon and Nedbank to offer Practitioners the ability to allow patients to pay for outstanding accounts with their Edcon card or Debit/Credit card, and they also acquired HealthOne, the leading Clinical Management software package, allowing us to cover the whole spectrum of Practice Management.  Since 2007, Medvic c.c. has won the following awards - in 2007 we won the prestigious award of Med-e-mass Dealer of the Year – Most Improved Dealership, in 2009 the Med-e-mass award for Value Added Services and in 2010 the Mediswitch award for  piloting SwitchComm Plus .  We cover the whole of Northern Natal, Southern Mpumalanga and the Eastern Freestate.

Our Medical Bureau has over 50 clients all over KwaZulu Natal and Southern Mpumalanga including GP’s, Dentists and Dental Therapists, Dermatologists, GP Anaesthetists, Physiotherapists, Registered Nurses and Dieticians.  We cater for Specialities across the board; no Practice is too big or too small to benefit from our wealth of knowledge and experience in Practice Management
